Micro Wind Turbines made from Bottles
« on: December 29, 2016, 07:08:55 pm »
So Im new to work of Micro Wind Turbine

I designed on pretty cheaply. It gets somewhere 0.30v + during windy conditions.

I dont have a gear ratio installed yet. I am planning to make bigger and better motor.

Heres A pic. Will be making better more to come!

Will be getting 3D printer in future and using light weight PLA to make better faster designs.

Why Thank you! This my first time receiving positive comment on my micro turbine design.

I like the light weight of these plastic bottles plus even cooler becuase transparent.
Im working on 16 blade version.

This one will be much nicer

btw is that your design? the PVC pipe? Dont you think that is heavy material? Honestly you should try the same but with 2 Litre pop bottles. You be surprised how long it can last outdoors spinning
