Anything made of lead over 7/16" dia flying at me at past the speed of sound still scares me.

Well, I pulled off the AimPoint sight since that picture was taken. It was on there for deer hunting at longer ranges but mostly gets in the way for anything else like using a holster or quick target acquisition. I typically kill whitetails at 30 feet or less using the ATV ( I have a disabled permit to shoot from vehicles).
She is not a tack driver but can hit a dinner plate in single action mode reliably as well as most folks can hit with an iron sight 12 gage smooth bore. If you can prop it up anyway (it tips the scale at 4# with that 8" barrel loaded).
We call them punkin slingers here in the hinterlands. JHP slugs expand to the size of nickels, too with my "hot" HP38 and 240 grain hollow points load.
