Title: Another use for PVC

Links connecting cells on one end

details of end link cap ....notice dowel rod to guide and wedge on
end cap has springs in end cap for contacts

a piece goes in between holder and drill to hold battery pac which slides on.

Today will be for making the final assembly part that
permanently attaches to the top that this particular drill
slides onto and ready to use !

  It would be a while before that battery went dead.  Pretty nice Norm.

I have seen that drill before.  :o

Looking good. About 2X the original pack capacity I would guess from the size.

same capacity as yours just looks a little bigger,
still has only 12 cells.
Yours seems to go faster and more torque than my Craftsman 14.4 .

what cells are those and what size PVC ....

I have 2 craftsman packs i need to replace ... and i happen to have 10 2200mAh 18650 li-ion with protection PCB's ...

Too late to answer much but I used 3/4 thinwall pvc
which is a just right fit for the C size Ni Cads ,,,
any more questions and I can maybe answer tomorrow ....

I just can't help talking about how useful this PVC 3/4 thin wall
is for my own use it enables me to put singles, doubles, triples etc.
into combinations of 10 stick them in my PVC battery holders charge
them up ....then check them individually...keep the ones that are
tested in a cordless drill and come thru with flying colors they can be
soldered end to end into 5 cell units just like the AA rechargeable Ni Cads
for the remote controlled toys are done .
