a better way is to right click image and copy image url and type and put the url in the middle of the 2 like this

lol attachment area works just at well too

I beg to differ, I see no way to insert pics into the text at appropriate intervals and max Kb's is too small to be useful.
just how I see it.

Make an account on http://pics.ww.com (http://pics.ww.com) then upload photos and link them in from there.
Automatically makes versions proper for furums as well as keeps any original full size photos.
Open your photo in the browser, copy the location. paste it in here, select it with your mouse, click the icon above the smileys above this text area and it will show up right where you pasted in the location. Like this:

And This:

The photos have nothing to do with this thread just easy to remember for me.

Then why did you two not say off board hosting of Pics is preferred and to encourage you we have made it hard to place them in a your post if you don't.
Your first pic sounds like good advice Tom.

I certainly prefer offsite hosting of photos but some folks don't think its good.
Sorry.
I do like watching you squirm, buddy.
How 'bout a nice big cup of .... ;D

http://www.anotherpower.com/gallery/ works to. It creates multiple image sizes as well as keeping the original.
However the attaching of images should work now.
-
there is an addon for smf that allowed the images that are uploaded to be handled better. I was looking into it the day of install. but obviously I didnt get it added
-
Is this the first post to go to two pages?
A of J

It should work now.. be sure to use the drop down menu to choose how to display. hint.. using anything but the default allows you to manipulate image placement in you post at any time even modifying
-
See if I can whack in an image for you then....
This will be a link to an off-site hosted file:

(No, that's not me!)

OK, links clearly work. Lets try a direct uploaded attachment....
-
Both worked fine. That is a picture of one of my friends, David, who was up at my place to see in the new year.
At midnight we all watched the fireworks - both the legal, city-sponsored fireworks at the showground, and the dozens of (in many cases even more spectacular) illegal private fireworks displays around the area.
After that, David fired up the bagpipes and we disturbed the neighbours for a while longer - then my daughter (side-drummer from a couple of other pipe and drum bands) and he played merry hell for a while. A good time was had by all.

But Ross I know you are smart so let me try...
This was stolen of the net from somewhere I don't remember....

Now that looks promising.

It must auto size that was 433K.

Now that looks promising.
OK. The image I showed was a "wind-powered device".
It works by blowing in it.
I suppose you'll make the same claim? :)
-
Ross please line up for some sex edification you have you blower and blowie mixed up ;D
Also stole this one but do know where I stole it from http://www.griffith.edu.au/ins/collections/webb/landscape.html (http://www.griffith.edu.au/ins/collections/webb/landscape.html)

Be aware I have seen a few of those...
They have a limited warranty if you purchase one :)
Solar panels warranties typically far exceed it.
(This has been a consumer notification)

What about maintenance cost after the warranty runs out? ;D
