Nothing quite as exotic as some but here is the new home of the new 1000amp-hr bank I acquired recently.
Starting from a flatpack iron kitset, lots of drilling and pop-rivets it got lifted into position on the forks on the back of the tractor a couple of weeks ago.
20 12v 100amp-hr batteries have been wedged in with quake straps to hold them firm.
Wireless router on the left, isolating 24v to 12v power supply in the ali box, new (Mk3) controller on the right. Underneath are the two 150A fuses for the inverter and wind turbine and the current shunt and isolation switch below that. The inverter is a 3kw MS that has been tweaked to handle much larger surges than it was designed for
The new much more readable display (one of 6 available for configuring and measuring data)
The busses are much more visible without the quake straps
I'll writing up the new controller in due course - its a development of the Atmel Butterfly board device but using an Arduino Mega 2560 board and having a USB connection and an SD Card for recording data.
