Your Battery Bank Type?
Go ahead and include your toy projects . . .

I have a hybrid LiIon battery for over 2 years now.
The 2kWh 24V Lithium battery is in parallel with a tired Lead acid bank. The Lithium does nearly all the day to day work, and the Lead acid helps out on low RE days. The Lithium battery is close to 100% efficient, and the charging is within the same reigime as Lead Acid chemistry. I have not changed the float/absorbtion/equalization voltages. An Outback solar MPPT handles the bulk of the battery maintenance. I recharge with solar/windmills and grid. The windmills and grid are only bulk recharging systems. The Lithium battery does require cell voltage equalizers. The lithium battery is like having a 90Ah constant voltage supercapacitor.

Where did you get the Li-ion cells from ?
-
No NiFe... :o

Can't include mine, as I can't see LFP there. (And pls don't say "they're lithium ion")
-
Correct me if I'm wrong but i think SLA refers to both gel and and agm. Dont know if you could edit that and delete sla giving those numbers split between agm and gel. Also, i agree with rossw, you need LFP in there, They are gaining popularity and again without it as a choice some are throwing their LFP vote in the li ion bin. Great information though, thanks!

Well . . . it is a February 2012 poll
Perhaps I should create a new one . . .

;D. You got me, I didnt even look at date.

Let's get this going again. I'm buying lfp since they're down to $188 each from China.
Or should I start a new thread?
