Spring in Alberta

bj:
Know what you mean about too hot Norm.  Re-doing trailer roof.  White, beside shop, with galvanized roof.
All that reflection, I can't work unless it's a cloudy day.  But just about done.
Glad to hear you are busy, and happy.
Always good to hear about your projects.

oztules:
Been a warm and very wet winter here.... wind roaring for weeks on end, and rain to match.. for about a month, then it stopped and became beautiful, all the more so after the trashing we have had.

Managed to re-roof the house... it didn't need it, but figured I was still agile enough to do it now, in a few years when it would need it I would not be able to I suspect.

The very wet winter is the same as it was in the 1950's and sixties... so the old timers tell me ... back to the future for them.... darn wet for me. Water still laying everywhere, and ducks and geese and swans all over the paddocks to match.

Been a good time to just play with inverters and other indoor stuff.

It must be amazing to live up there in Alberta, freezing your rear end off, then long hot summers... a real difference between summer and winter. I would have liked to see that first hand, but getting to old to enjoy world hopping now..... I will live it through you folks instead.

Good to see us still all kicking too.

It is an interesting place to live Oz.  Temp spread from warmest day to coldest, can be almost 80 C spread.  Haven't
had that for a few years though. (thankfully, and not complaining)
Know what you mean about doing stuff now, it takes me a lot longer now, than even a few years ago.
But, as you said, we're still kicking, and I too am glad for it.

frackers:
Can you send some of your rain over please? We are entering our third year of drought here on the south island east coast - aquifer levels are the lowest they have ever been and some of my neighbours have had to re-drill boreholes just for drinking water never mind irrigation (which looks to be under server restriction when we actually need it!!)

Got round to retesting & refilling CO2 cylinder for welder so now can build the case for the Ozinverter and start looking at running the well pump via a VFD.

bj:
Would, if I could Frackers.  We went through a ten year lower than average rainfall period,
and same thing on water levels.  About one foot per year on the average.  Last year we got
the average rainfall, this year will be more than average.  Hopeing it will continue.
