Hey Chris, That video kind of makes one ashamed to depend on frequent trips to the hardware store but it reflects the "poor farmer/rancher" axiom I grew up with of "we have to make do with what we have".

My thoughts too Thurmond.
I particularly got a kick out of the way they formed
the blades a few hammer marks....but seemed like a good
heavy coat of paint covered them up pretty well....
reminds me of how I formed a snow plow blade for a two
wheel tractor once from 1/8 inch steel.....a 2x4 under one
side and run the wheel of the car the length of it.
Like you said ....make do with what you have.
