Hi Rich
It just occurred to me that I didn't reply to your message.
but I was thinking about doing so a number of times.
So ....what kind of mileage do you get.?
I'm thinking a person could save money on gas even in the mean
time but it would be also cheaper to buy new tires more often....new
cheap tires, I figure newer tires having more rubber to protect from
road hazards and such  less like to have a tire puncture.
In my younger days used to ride on tires until the air started showing.
...but anymore like now my tires have plenty of tread showing....
but I'm lazy.....got a slow leak in one and it gripes me to listen
to wife asking every day before we go somewhere...."Did you check
that tire ?"  and
"maybe we ought to get some new ones!"  she speaks I obey...
this is where the lazy comes in .....being boss is too high of a price
too much useless argument.

....but I'm still havin' fun !
Norm.

I have one of those continuous mileage monitor things on this car, a hybrid, and also having had about 10 or 12 plugs in tires before I changed them out, I can tell the difference between a low tire and a fully pressurized one.  This gasoline stuff is getting a bit pricey around my parts so properly inflated tires are worth the effort.    Rich

Hi Rich!

My "certified" computer game hybred car has that stuff too, and a low tire indicator.
Also came with a Reese hitch (which I was told would void any promises), and the tires on rotating 'backwards' from what it says on the tires.
Got any hints on tires?

Presidential elction year, again.
Gas went from $3.80 a week ago, to $3.65 a few days ago, to $3.279 yesterday.
Naturally I was super happy and filled up at $3.449, a few hours before I saw it for $3.279.

Looks like my 13.9G(?) hybred's "almost out of gas" warning comes on with about 3.8G left, or over 200 miles left, which was about like 5/8 full in the purple truck in miles left before fumes.
Maybe that why they call the gas gauge in mine a "guess gauge".   ???

Hmmm... Sounds to me like you're withholding useful information from us there, Norm...

I've been trying to figure out how to do just that for a fair portion of my life. And then you come along all talking about tires with air showing. The astute individual would have developed this into the rubberless tire... And patented it.

Now, being how you don't exactly strike me as the dimmest bulb on the tree, I'm inclined to believe you have a copy of said patent in a deep, dark drawer somewhere.

Would you uh, mind going and getting the number that's on there for me? That's all I need, thanks. >X-D
