You'll see Conneaut, Ohio....(that's us .)
guess I'll have to post some pics of them in pic gallery one of these days.
I'll see if I can find some pics of them.....
I guess EPS has quite a few interesting deals ....stand alone street lights....

We have one now at our school, but we certainly don't have a 600KW, just a twenty if i remember right.
It's been a long time since I was involved.  I built a website for it, initially for gathering donations to complete it.
Then added a place to display logging data but once the Park Rapids Area Schools took it over its was changed up, made a mess, and not ever totally complete after that. It has now been hacked and is advertising russian brides, and viagra like stuff, I have tried to inform administration, and the school tech guy, with never any luck getting it fixed.

The site is so infested I'll save everyone the nastiness and not link.

The day it was raised

Trying to make power from alternative energy any which way I can.
Just to abuse what I make. (and run this site)

Local college put this 1.6 MegaWatt General Electric XLE up last year...

https://www.luther.edu/sustainability/energy/windturbine/

Not in the most ideal location (that sign is in the river bottom) but they get to see it from campus and many places around town so it makes them look "green". All good and I get to watch it loping along at about 30 RPM a lot of the time.

Do NOT mistake me for any kind of "expert".

24 Trina 310 watt modules, SMA SunnyBoy 7.7 KW Grid Tie inverter.

I thought that they were angels, but much to my surprise, We climbed aboard their starship and headed for the skies

The one down at the docks in Conneaut seems to turn about 20 rpm,
at the max.
Have to pick up two of the Grandkids from school every week day so
we drop by there most every day to check on it.
