My first inverter ( W7 power star thing) was killed off by a spider..... it died next to the 20 pin header, and it's guts seeped under the plastic header material.... right where it would do the worst damage... 60v buss and 5v chip I/O..... I was happy with that inverter, but that is what pushed me to find boards to replace it... funny how it works out really....
My W7 has now got a new board, but has not been used for years now..... just another spare 6000w unit....It can be used as a UPS if you keep the original 40kg transformers in side it.
Damn spiders.....
Hopefully you have two 5kw transformers in there like my first one.... the next were smaller ones.... QC is not their strong point.... nor is consistency of build...... but very cheap to get hold of.
