Small off grid system with tracker at island cottage, Lac-Simon Quebec.
The azimuth and elevation of the sun is calculated given the lat/lon and the time. The tracker is setup & calibrated using an Android app that communicated with the tracker over bluetooth.

Very nice setup, were the actual racks homemade or purchased? Because they look real good

Nice looking setup.
I would be worried about the post changing angles, and ice damage where I live right by the water like that.
Is there some circumstances that makes that unlikely there?

Thanks,
I had the metal part cut at the metal supply store, so all I had to do was drill a few holes and some mig welding.

Thanks,
Hopefully that big rock will protect the post this winter, I'll be removing the frame at the end of the season so only the post with the hub will remain in place for the winter.
I can always recalibrate the unit with the android app next year.
