this is the first active yaw i seen on a machine of this size[attach=1]
not only that , the blades have active pitch as well....the mill is under development and running, axial flux based but conservatively rated ......it has galvanized rotor disks and in house made fibre glass vacuumed blades .......
seems very interesting ........

i guess each blade would come in at about 8 feet Bj...which is usually ? still well within normal tail (tail wagger ) operation ....
i might (hope) to see it when its back up running ......the site is about 2 hours away , well worth a trip i think ......
my mill is on a really turbulent site , it constantly hunts and with a heavy prop thats hard on the bearings , so the active yaw seems interesting ....
