Title: Sun tracker Mark III sensor testing
Post by: David HK on March 03, 2012, 05:12:44 pm
For those that may have seen my contributions on this subject on the 'other' site the following is a carry on with a Mark III sensor unit put up for test on Saturday 3rd Mark 2012.

The most significant difference (compared with the Mark II unit) is that this has a 70 mm tall shadow maker (compared with the Mark II which was 40 mm) and this is brass sheet painted black. The weather proof box ix slightly bigger.

Despite a lack of sunshine the initial results look promising, but more observation time is needed.

Self explanatory photographs below.

Looks great David.
I hope it works even better than the Mark II.
