i have used these devices for years and found some interesting things....
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32866409420.html
...
PRO:
very handy for state of charge, bi-directional current sensing..
seem pretty accurate...
CON:
the wireless signal is quite dismal, 10-15 meters advertised.. .bout that in real life..
so lets fix that, it uses the standard NRF24L01 modules... sweet order some palna+ versions , like this
https://www.ebay.com.au/i/133381532534?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-139619-5960-0&mkcid=2&itemid=133381532534&targetid=892931907096&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9069084&poi=&campaignid=10101784961&mkgroupid=102311923620&rlsatarget=pla-892931907096&abcId=1145981&merchantid=7364522&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIvuvfp7yI6gIVwRErCh3ucQITEAQYAyABEgJZ0_D_BwE
matter of squizzing them in... sorry only took finished pics, but you get the idea..
first pic, installed in the "sender " unit, i have 2, one does wired in shed, other is inside house.
Happily transmits inside about 30-40 metres away, with 2 walls.. happy camper

Hi Noneya!
Long time, looks great. I’ve been doing the Midnite Solar thing they finally have a cloud app it’s decent. Anyways, I see 2 shunts in series, is that to raise current handling capabilities or am I seeing it wrong.

There is 2 gauges in 2 different locations... for convenience..
They are 500 amp 75mv shunts, so bugger all dissipation.
