Built my own sine inverter
« on: April 15, 2019, 06:31:45 am »
Hi

I've seen some that buid their own powerful sine inverter from a toroid.
It's big project and I wonder if it would be possible to build one from what I got on the shelves : Old UPS

I've got an old regular 700W UPS (was o 36V batery whan I am on 24V) with regular transformer (not toroid) so it could be a good start for a beginer.

I've seen these EGS002 very cheap control board.
I've seen the 6kW Ozinverter as example but I wonder what power board does it use.
I understood the Ozinverter was open source design but despite seeing lots of photos, I couldn't find schematics.

Could someone point me out in some useful direction.

And what are your thought about starting with a smaller model. In any case, if the small one is a success, I would still have a use for it.
