The thing about spring
« on: April 30, 2013, 07:38:58 am »
I suppose I should have seen it coming.  I was teasing Wolv a bit about weather, as it got above 20C here, put
summer tires on the truck, pumped all the standing water to the ditch.
It was supposed to cool off a bit yesterday, but, it started to snow.  No big deal, as it was melting almost
as fast as it was coming down.
Well, we got almost 8 inches of the stuff, and about 5 is still left.
Bright side, it`s supposed to warm up again in a couple of days.
Winter is putting up an epic battle this year.  Almost admirable.  Almost.

We had almost no winter this year. My hydro usually runs into July, other than a few days a few weeks ago it has been off for 2 months. The hydrograph in the mad river at bridgeville should be at 6-7 ft this time of year, it is at .68ft right now. Our precip is near normal, because our winter was 60-70f, punctuated by huge amounts of rain, we got 15 inches in one 2 day storm.
