As I posted in the Bulletin Board
We had a pretty big storm hit our area.
The city of Park Rapids didn't see much trouble but between Bemidji and the north side of Park Rapids ( I am located in that area) saw some pretty bad damages.
I don't have any images yet of any consequence to share but there are a few articles online already for Bemidji, since the city got hit pretty hard.
My wife's boss had the gutters, deck, and some siding torn off. Their shed was torn up and thrown across the yard and garage door pretty badly damaged. They are still without power near 4 hours later and might be for up to a week, was the last thing estimated for her area.

THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE IS TRANSMITTED AT THE REQUEST OF THE BELTRAMI EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT:
“EMERGENCY TRAVEL ONLY IS BEING ADVISED IN THE CITY OF BEMIDJI AT THIS TIME DUE TO EXTENSIVE STORM DAMAGE. THIS DAMAGE INCLUDES NUMEROUS POWER-LINES DOWN...NUMEROUS AND SIGNIFICANT TREE DAMAGE AS WELL. ALL PHONE SYSTEMS ARE DOWN EXCEPT FOR 911 FOR EMERGENCY CALL ONLY.”
Some of the storm reports from the Bemidji area:
Bemidji [Beltrami Co, MN] law enforcement reports TSTM WND DMG at 07:00 PM CDT -- numerous trees down throughout the city of bemidji. street flooding as well.
Bemidji [Beltrami Co, MN] broadcast media reports NON-TSTM WND DMG at 07:05 PM CDT -- public report of a 60 ft spruce tree broken off about halfway up the tree with other limbs down in the area ... posted on kvly facebook site
In addition to damage in Bemidji, visitors at Lake Itasca State Park are trapped inside the park due to trees down across the exit. Winds were estimated around 80 mph.

The Bemidji Police and Law Enforcement center have issued a curfew for the City of Bemidji on 7/2/12 from 11pm-6am. We have been advised that violators will be dealt with appropriately. Stay home...be safe. We are back on the air, so tune in for more updates.

Minnesota almost never gets weather like this.
These last few years it has been ramping up, this year we have been hit many many times.
3 times in a row in just 2 days where I am.
Not to mention the near 100F ( and over that in localized areas) with horrid humidity..
