Caught this shot a couple of mornings ago.
Pardon the look of the shop,  new siding metal starts next week.

Haha, what kind of girlie man are you that a measly -50 F and a 50 MPH breeze (-45 C and 85 KPH) would bother you?  :o

Sorry for the rather un PC comparison. Not.  ;D

That may be... but I like your -45C as much as you like my +45C and over summers! I guess that makes us square :)

PS: at least we can actually go outside any time of the day or night, any time of the year without risking instant death!

Don't listen to them Steve,  the only time it gets that bad here is around the New Years mark.
If you ever decide to do the trip,  I will be pleased to be your tour guide.
As an aside,  Oct 12, 2014,  05:45, and it is +12.2C.  Not too shabby, for the great white north.

Hehe I'm torn. I wanna see things like the aurora and all that, but from what I gather, I better have some extra insulation and a lot of propane at the very least if I'm ever to see it live and in person... :o

I'm starting to actually like cold as opposed to hot, but man, I dunno, what I call cold and what you guys call cold are apparently very different things  ???

I'll certainly take you up on the guided tour offer, but the timing is... hmm... shall we say "up in the air"?  :-[

Up in the air is just fine too.   I am not planning to disappear any time soon.

Hi Steve,  I have been considering a trek across Canadian lands all the way to Alaska. I know how many diesel gallons my rig needs and how much chow we eat. I'll have to contact the officials several months in advance for gun permissions and I should be heading that way soon.

Iv'e been to Alaska once for a few days and loved its land and people, just not the Texas size musquitoes. They were also exported to South Korea therby leaving AK with only 10 percent. I'v just retired and want to make that trek.

If you should have good advice that you would need, or sights off the path I'm all ears! Thanks, Phil
