Lawn mower scooter
« on: March 08, 2014, 08:24:00 am »
Will be working on my electric powered scooter
using front wheel drive self propelled lawnmower unit.
will pull a 2 wheel sulky with riding lawnmower seat.
18 volt cordless drill with  socket just happens to be
suitable to power it .....good opportunity to see how
the drill will hold up ....also good for testing my batteries.

It will be in this position ?

a better view

looks like an easy project.....
(always does  :)  )
Norm.

Be interesting to see how it works out Norm.  Got a few of those drives kicking around, hadn't
thought of that use.

The drill motor may outlast the gearing.

Power Wheels are almost the same motor build, and generally the gears go first, followed by brushes if you trnasferthe motor to a new gearbox. Brushes as everyone knows are a pretty easy fix.

You will essentially have a Power Wheels
