Where  do you find pure water??
My intent was to prevent some one or something from being hurt.
So if this should come to pass  its on you.
Now turn off your computer and take a vom out and  check out your battery tops!!
I can now see why not very many come to this forum.

Isaiah -

That approach is the kind of thing that leads to problems. Let's keep it civil, huh?

Sorry to divert from the topic, but I must point out, since Isaiah brought it up.

This forum is just a few months old, generally most do not become overnight phenomenons..
However this forum has a LOT more guest page views than anything, people ARE watching.

I had posted here asking why so many guests views without many singing up.
What came was a rather unexpected result:
A surprising number of emails stating very much the same thing from each.
I really didn't expect any answers at all, but there were posts to that thread, and emails to boot.

It seems (for now anyway) a good number of those emails reported fear of joining because of retribution from an "other" forum they feel (and I quote one of the emails)
"a couple of the new admin people that are drunk with some imaginary power."

They do not want to lose their status there so are playing it safe.

We addressed this issue somewhat as a result. We hid who is online, who the last member was, forum stats, plus we never have shown the member list. This cannot say that once you post, even under a different nick that an identity cannot be worked out. At least though now these guys can sign up so they can see the rest of the site hidden from guests ( and mostly search engines).

Tend to do nothing more than tick people off.

I read past it and did not think twice,
but I'm fairly thick skinned and stuff like that don't bug me much.

But, never the less, it was reported to the moderators whom had varied ideas how to respond.

So I am stepping in to politely ask you refrain from such language.

Debates are great. this thread was going along nicely, and it worked well as it investigated/shown the intricacies and properties of water conductivity.
This is the kind of thing I would *like* to encourage, but we can't let it degrade to name calling or similar.

Thanks Wolv----that helped explain some of the questions/actions taken.  (members list etc.)
My personal opinion is that for a forum that has only existed for three months,  this one is doing very well, and
I am very glad/fortunate to be here.  :)
After re-reading this, I guess I have to figure out how to make a smiley that waves an anotherpower banner.
Should only take me about 10 years.
