The primary is the outer, and made up of lots in hand wire..... don't bother to unwind it.. too messy... although if you want to use the 8010 board, you may well take a few turns off it, as the dynamics in the 8010 is not as wide as the PJ controller.

To modify the output voltages on the hv windings......, simply add turns in the correct direction to increase voltage, and wind in the opposite direction for lower voltage.... so we just  add wire for up or down results.... makes it simple.

Thanks, Oz.  That's helpful info.  I'm going to give this part of the project a rest for awhile and focus on the bigger picture.  There's still a lot of loose ends in my solar system to finalize.  I want to get some actual solar data and make any needed adjustments.

I will be following your 8010 project.  That looks very promising.
