AC input for PJ 110/220v split-phase inverter?

I have the 15kw 110/220v 60hz split-phase power jack. The included wire for AC input is a standard 110v plug, but in the manual it says "The Battery Charger function only for 220v home grid power,cannot for 110v". So am I correct in assuming they just use this standard plug for all of their inverters, and I should never plug the AC input into 110v grid? What would happen?

Would it really be that much trouble for them to remove, or change this plug to a 220v one...?

The top one is the standard 240v one here.

Do not use the 110v in there. It requires the 220v as it is using center tapped transformer effect for your 110v, it is really a full 220/240v transformer, and you need that to drive it.

Over here that plug works.... not in USA unless 220v at least.
